1. What we collect

IMHUB is a message relay service. To provide it, we process:

Message content — the messages between you and your contact, used for delivery and translation.
Account identifiers — your account ID and display name on each messaging platform.
Pairing relationships — who is connected to whom.
Credentials you provide — if you use the "bring your own bot" feature, the app credentials you enter (e.g. Feishu App ID / App Secret).

We do not collect your contact list, your conversations with other people on those platforms, location data, or any personal information beyond the identifiers above.

2. How we use it

Delivery — sending your message to the contact you designated.
Translation — when sender and recipient use different languages, the message body is sent to a large language model for translation (claude-haiku-4-5). Nothing is sent when both sides share a language.
Troubleshooting — service logs rotate daily and are kept for at most 14 days, then deleted automatically.

We do not use your messages for advertising and do not sell them to third parties. We ourselves will not use them to train any model, nor for any purpose other than translation and delivery.

3. How long we keep it

Message bodies, and voice files transcoded for delivery: 7 days. Cleanup runs in batches, so actual deletion may lag by a few hours.
Original attachments you send (images, audio, documents): 7 days.
Pairing relationships: until you end them yourself (/unpair) — deleted on removal.
Pairing codes: 60 minutes.
Language samples (up to 3 messages): cleared as soon as detection completes.
Notification email you register: until you send /email off (the whole record is deleted, not disabled) or ask us to delete it.
Content and contact details you submit via the website feedback form: until you ask us to delete them.
Service logs: rotated daily, at most 14 days.

4. Third parties

Third-party large language model providers — purpose: language detection and message translation; data reached: message body (only when cross-language conversion is required).
Messaging platforms (WeChat / WhatsApp / Telegram / LINE / Feishu (Lark) / Zalo) — purpose: sending and receiving messages; data reached: message content, account identifiers.

We disclose model providers by category rather than by name — that vendor may change, and naming them individually would make this policy inaccurate on every change.

5. Security

App credentials you submit (Feishu App ID / Secret) are stored in server configuration files with 0600 permissions; they are never written to logs and never echoed back on any page.
Pairing records, email addresses and message queue files are stored with 0600 permissions; the voice temp directory is 0700.

6. Your rights

At any time you can:

send /unpair to end a pairing
send /email off to delete the notification email you registered
contact support@imhub.net to access, correct or delete your data — including anything you submitted through the website feedback form
